Cabin Upgrades

Tyson has been very busy at the cabin, as of late. As we realize our time here is running out, we have especially been anxious to spend as much time there as possible. We were excited to get such a gorgeous weekend. Today's forecase includes snow showers and a high in the 30s (BLECK). Here is Moose lazing in the front yard. Gus was too busy chasing birds to hold still for this shot.

Tyson found some reclaimed siding and resided the eaves/gables of the Cabin. We are looking forward to NOT hearing the woodpeckers at 5 AM next spring/summer thanks to metal siding.

I think it gives it quite a nice, yet rustic look!

Eric purchased a new electric Oven/Stove (We will miss you, dearest propane camp stove). We broke it in over the weekend with some homemade Pizza. Tyson added some additional counter space and shelving to help the stove fit right in.

Cider House Drool

Apples are in season and they are falling all over Bozeman. I went around town with my friend Kirk and helped in the harvest. We then dropped them off at the local cider mill for processing. The estimated liquid haul is 15 to 20 gallons. We'll know in a few days. If anyone has a good hard cider recipe please let me know.

Sorry. We've been pre-occupied and have not posted in quite a while. I blame Molly. For everything. Where was I...............oh yes, September was packed full of activities. We spent Labor Day floating and camping on the Yellowstone River followed by a wedding, a BBQ, and a game of lawn darts. I returned to the mountains for more field work and had the pleasure of spending a week in the Madison Range of southwest Montana. Molly and I rang in the month of October by climbing separate mountains. She went up Sacagawea with the ladies and I tackled Emigrant Peak with the guys. On another note, we will be returning to K.C. at the end of year. I would appreciate someone finding me a job with a six-figure income. Thankyou.
