Moose found something so wonderful on our last bike ride that he wanted to take it home with him: in an olfactory sort of way.

•A black bear was seen looking for apples in an alley at 7:12 p.m. in the 600 block of South Black Avenue.

•Four to eight horses were running down Annie Glade Drive toward U.S. Highway 191 at 12:51 p.m.

•A hammock was taken off a North Ferguson Avenue porch around 1:43 p.m.

•A “very intoxicated male thought police should give him a ride home.”

•An officer spoke with “a very intoxicated man who was very lost” on East Main Street around 3 a.m.

•Someone smeared cupcakes on a man’s vehicle parked on Baxter Lane. It was not the first time this happened, the vehicle owner said
