Bozeman Broom Ball

One of the many perks that the city of Bozeman has to offer is public ice rinks. This means that Molly can practice her triple lutz on nights and weekends. Unfortunately her skating outfit was deemed inappropriate and she will not be attending the upcoming winter games. However, this allows more time for Broom Ball. We participate in this annual event to celebrate the birthday of our friend and fellow Broom Ball enthusiast, Lander. Being the ingenuitive person I thought I was, I decided to construct custom brooms this year. I dug up some wooden dowels, a piece of yellow pine, and some bamboo blinds in order to make my creation appear as authentic as possible. Well, I am not the besom maker I sought out to be. I broke both of them in 10 minutes and busted a third after that. Beer heals all wounds.

I'm sorry to hear Molly won't be in the Olympics this year. I was looking forward to watching her dance on the ice.
